What is a Podiatrist?
A podiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the foot, ankle and related structures of the leg. They are the most qualified doctor to care for your feet. Podiatrists complete 4 years of medical school followed by years of hospital residency training.
Dr. Grossman completed his medical training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio (now the Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine) and his residency in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Grossman is a board certified podiatrist which requires advanced training, clinical experience and ultimately taking an exam.
Dr. Grossman has been practicing at this location since 1993.

Ingrown nails:
Do you have a toe that is red and puffy at the edge where the nail meets the skin? You may have an ingrown nail.

Corns and Calluses:
Do you feel as if there is a stone in your shoe? Do you have a small, hard form on your foot that causes a good deal of pain? You may have a corn or callus.

Fungal Nails:
Are any of your nails discolored? Are they very difficult to cut? You may have a fungal infection of the nail.

Athlete’s foot:
Are there areas of your feet that are red and itchy? You may have Athlete’s foot.

Plantar Warts:
Do you have lump or a bump on the bottom of your foot or around the toes that may be painful and that seems to be spreading? You may have a plantar wart.

Heel Spur:
Do you have pain in one or both of your heels? You may have a heel spur.

Plantar Fasciitis:
Do you have pain on the bottom of your foot or feet? You may have plantar fasciitis.
